General Description: The flight simulator PSPK-2 with a moving cockpit is designed to simulate various regimes of flight including critical ones (stall, spin, “Kobra”, etc ) of maneuverable airplanes for the purpose of investigating handling characteristics control systems development and pilot personnel for critical flight regimes.
Cockpit:
Visual System (Wide–Angle Projection System):
“Earth-Sky”, consisting of a light point source, a transparency and spherical screen of 10 m in diameter. Images of horizon line, sky and earth surface visible from the altitude of 3-4 kilometres generated on the screen , horizontal and vertical field of view is 180o. Rolling ang heading angles variation is unrestricted; pitch angle variation is from - 45 to + 90 degrees
Cockpit Motion System:
with 4-degrees of freedom and the following displacements:

Capabilities:
Cockpit:
- a model of a maneuverable airplane cockpit with electromechanical flight instruments;
- central control column and pedals with a spring system for load application and trimming mechanisms;
- a side stick with a spring system for load application;
- engine control levers.
