International forum IFASD 2015 in St. Petersburg
The 16th international Structural Aeroelasticity and Dynamics Forum IFASD 2015 was held in St. Petersburg. The event took place in Russia for the first time. This year the forum was organized by the Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute named after N.E. Zhukovsky (TsAGI).
- Sergey Chernyshev, acting general director of FSUE TsAGI, spoke at the forum’s opening.
- Young specialists from various world countries took active part in IFASD 2015.
- Dutch scientists and engineers not only listened attentively to speeches of their colleagues but also reported about their achievements.

- In general, IFASD 2015 collected over 200 specialists from 22 countries. According to organizers of this scientific event, the key forum’s task – gather together and discuss results and achievements of scientists from various countries specialized in structural aeroelasticity and dynamics – was solved successfully.
