TsAGI Takes Part in First All-Russian Job Fair

Implementing active HR policy is an essential activity for a dynamically developing enterprise in contemporary conditions. It is essential for the world-class aviation research center to take part in Russia’s national and regional recruitment events to engage new staff into its activities. TsAGI (a part of NRC “Zhukovsky Institute”) participated in the First All-Russian Job Fair, ‘The work of Russia. Time of Opportunity’.
For TsAGI, the starting point was its participation in the April’s regional stage of the fair. Its HR specialists were involved in Doors Open Days of relevant universities and training colleges, such as MAI, MIPT, Bauman MSTU and Aviation Technical School named after V. A. Kazakov, and spoke at career fairs organized by MPEI, Stankin University, and Moskovia College.
The next point was the participation of TsAGI in the national stage of the fair, which took place on June 23. TsAGI presented its activity areas, offers and vacancies, at job center in Ramenskoye Town, Moscow Region. Interest towards TsAGI was shown by people of different ages and specialties—mostly students from Ramenskiy College, the Ramenskoye Road Construction College, Aviation Technical School named after V. A. Kazakov, and Automobile and Road College — the future welders, electricians, instrumentation fitters, drivers, etc. Middle-aged engineers and lawyers visited TsAGI’s mount, too. All job-seekers were recommended contacting the HR Department.
‘TsAGI is a large enterprise with multiple areas of activities, both core and extra, that is, non-research ones. Many jobs are in demand here, from a cleaner to a scientist and top manager. Events like a job fair are useful and necessary both for young career starters and recognized specialists who have decided to change their job for some reason. Organizations also need such meetings as they give good opportunity for live communication with potential employees,’ said Svetlana Shishlyannikova, Deputy Head for HR; Head for Personnel Selection, Evaluation and Development at TsAGI.
The First All-Russian Job Fair is organized by Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation. It aims at industrial enterprises, Russian job-seekers, students, college graduates and their parents. Apart from TsAGI, the Ramenskoye job center hosted the mounts of the State Fire Supervision Service, the Salyut Machine Building Plant, Zhukovsky Teplotsentral’ Company, the military commissariat, Rosgosstrakh, Gromov Flight Research Institute, Tikhomirov Scientific Research Institute of Instrument Design, Zhukovsky Machine-Building Plant, Pilkington Glass, etc.
