A Guide to Find TsAGI at MAKS-2021

16 July 2021

TsAGI (a part of NRC “Zhukovsky Institute”) will demonstrate the results of research and tests at MAKS-2021, the 15th International Aviation and Space Salon. The event will take place at Ramenskoye airfield located in Zhukovsky city. United exposition by NRC “Zhukovsky Institute” organizations can be found in F3 pavilion.

At this exposition, TsAGI will present a mocked-up integrated technology demonstrator of a supersonic transport (SST). The project reflects seamlessly-designed integration of innovative technologies and solutions for SST. The visitors will see wind tunnel models of different inlets and outlets of SST propulsion, which have been successfully tested, and mock-ups of advanced aircraft structures.

The exposition will also demonstrate progress within the WCRC ‘Supersonic’ program—one of TsAGI’s top priorities. The institute will show an interactive presentation of the laboratory, and a mock-up of WCRC ‘Supersonic’ Infrastructure.

In addition, TsAGI will actively participate in Future Hub, the collective exposition titled ‘Academic Science and Aeronautical Technical Creativity of the Youth’. It will show integrated digital facility for managing design, manufacturing, and wind tunnel tests, as well as a technology demonstrator of doing wind-tunnel tests online. The visitors will see these developments in F3 pavilion.

The participants and guests are welcomed to visit the pavilion at MAKS-2021.

The first MAKS International and Space Salon was held in Zhukovsky in 1993. Currently, it is held once in two years. The event is organized by Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, and by Rostec State Corporation. Aviasalon company is the directorate of the event.
