  In February specialists of the Central AeroHydrodynamic Institute named after professor N.E. Zhukovsky (TsAGI, part of the National Research Center “Institute named after N.E. Zhukovsky”) started to research the strength of a modified door of the main landing gear of the airliner SSJ100.

  TsAGI specialists are among winners of the Engineer of the Year 2016 competition

  In early February the Engineer of the Year 2016 annual all-Russian competition was completed, with four employees of Central AeroHydrodynamic Institute named after professor N.E. Zhukovsky (TsAGI, part of the National Research Center “Institute named after N.E. Zhukovsky”) among the winners.

  TsAGI specialists finished static testing of the Il-76 MD-90А wing panel

  This past January, specialists at the Central AeroHydrodynamic Institute named after professor N. E. Zhukovsky (TsAGI, a part of the Scientific Research Center „Institute named after N. E. Zhukovsky”) conducted static strength tests of a wing panel of the new Il-76 MD-90А modification of the military transport aircraft Il-76.

  TsAGI specialists present latest rotary-wing aircraft technology

  This past January, scientists at the Central AeroHydrodynamic Institute named after professor N. E. Zhukovsky (TsAGI, a part of the Scientific Research Center “Institute named after N. E. Zhukovsky”) discussed pressing helicopter construction issues at a meeting held during a research workshop of the Division for Helicopter Aerodynamics and Dynamics, Aircraft High-Angle Spins and Aerodynamics.

  TsAGI scientists attended XLI Academic Readings on Cosmonautics

  The scientists of the Central AeroHydrodynamic Institute named after professor N. E. Zhukovsky (TsAGI, a part of the Scientific Research Center “Institute named after N. E. Zhukovsky”) took part in XLI Academic Readings on Cosmonautics, dedicated to the memory of the academician S. P. Korolyov, and other prominent Russian scientists and space pioneers. The event took place on January 24–27, 2017 in the Bauman Moscow State Technical University.

  TsAGI specialist wins the Academician G.G. Cherny Award

  Aleksey Troshin, a young scientist of the Central AeroHydrodynamic Institute named after professor N.E. Zhukovsky (TsAGI, a part of the Scientific Research Center “Institute named after N.E. Zhukovsky”) became a winner of the Academician G.G. Cherny Award in the field of aeromechanics and gas dynamics (representing young scientists under 35).
