Development of cooperation with Chinese colleagues is one of the directions of TsAGI’s work at MAKS-2017

The Zhukovsky Central AeroHydrodynamic Institute (TsAGI, a member of the National Research Center" Institute named after N.E.Zhukovsky") held a series of meetings with colleagues from China during MAKS-2017. The events were held in the Russian Centre of Aeronautical Science.
TsAGI’s leadership discussed bilateral cooperation with AVIC Corporation, including potential research in flight dynamics and aircraft control system. Some experimental base objects were demonstrated to the foreign colleagues.
A delegation from the Institute of FAI visited the Russian Aviation Science Center during the Airshow. TsAGI has been working jointly with FAI for more than 10 years. The meeting was devoted mainly to the issues of cooperation in the field of aerodynamics and strength.
On 19 July, the Institute became a venue for the 12th meeting of the Workshop on civil aviation and civil aircraft industry of the Subcommittee on cooperation in the field of industry for the Russian-Chinese Commission during the regular meetings of Heads of Government. The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, OJSC “United aircraft Corporation” JSC “Russian helicopters,” JSC “United motor building Corporation,” “Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company”, FSUE “VIAM”, and JSC “NIIAO”. From China the event was attended by colleagues from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China and the COMAC Corporation.
