The institute opened a scientific laboratory to research combustion of engines of advanced aircrafts, a milestone event. The new laboratory is the first resident of the TsAGI Technopark, the foundation of which is supported by the Government of the Moscow region.

A joint meeting TsAGI — CAE (Chinese Aviation Academy) will be one of the key events. It will be the 15th Russian-Chinese Conference TsAGI-CAE on aerodynamics, dynamics, strength and flight safety.

TsAGI scientists with their European colleagues will discuss the realization of the AGILE project (Multidisciplinary optimization of third generation within innovative multidisciplinary cooperation) of the EU framework program for research and innovation “Horizon 2020.” The work is devoted to the development of technologies of joint optimization for solving complex multidisciplinary tasks, especially by numerical methods.

The Institute will pay particular attention to the development of the young generation of specialists and their colleagues from research centers in Germany, France, Belgium, Italy, Romania, Portugal, Switzerland, China, South Africa, Japan and South Korea. TsAGI will hold a two-days seminar for young scientists from organizations, members of the International Forum on Aviation Research (IFAR).
