The youth team from the Youth Innovation Technical Centre of the Central AeroHydrodynamic Institute named after professor N.E. The competition was held on May 13 to 14 in Zhukovsky at the cordodrome of the Meteor sports complex.

Members of the competition were competing in three fields, i.e. speed models, pilot models and copies and semi-copies. Based on the sum of scores in the team scoring they became the silver medalists of the competition.

“Our performance in the last competition was in line with our capabilities,” stated Nikolay Cherkalin, the Head of the section, Candidate for Master of Sports in Aeromodelling. “Of course, there is potential for growth, there is something to strive for. I believe that at the moment we need to improve the quality of the flight movement and the performance of speed models.”
